Most of us are unaware of the link between day-to-day breathing and both sleep quality and duration. This presentation aims to explain that link and what we can do about it.

Annette and Graham discuss:

Most of us know that a calm approach to sleep is likely to deliver better results than going to bed with a busy mind. Many know too that calm, slow breathing at bedtime can be useful for getting to sleep. Less well-known, however, is the role of day-to-day, moment-by-moment breathing in both sleep quality and duration.

This presentation will highlight the research-backed effects of breathing on sleep and help you to identify whether or not there’s room for improvement in your everyday breathing and subsequently in your sleep. We will take a brief look at various aspects of sleep-related issues from sleep duration and quality through to snoring and sleep apnea.
