An Open Letter to Roger Waters

The Corona Panic and just about every other major corporate PR propaganda campaign of the 21st Century has made an absolute mockery of nearly every one of my musical heroes. But probably the greatest betrayal I ever felt was that Roger Waters was willing to come to Canada to play sold out concerts to a medically segregated audience, where those of us who hadn’t submitted to the experimental gene transfer injections manufactured by serial corporate criminals and didn’t possess the requisite state-issued, digital QR codes were not allowed to attend.

George Roger Waters, more than any other musical figure on planet earth, has done more to open my eyes to the malignant nature of the Corporate Superstate so to see him fall head over heels for every single one of the CoronaPanic distortions, parroting the pharma PR concocted fallacies as faithfully as any Gibblehead ever did and willing to participate in a medial apartheid was a profoundly disappointing turn of events for me.

But after seeing Noam Chomsky calling for the unvaccinated to receive the exact same treatment the Israelis dish out to the Palestinians in Gaza, I guess I shouldn’t be overly surprised. All in all, it’s just another brick in the wall.

Nevertheless, I learned to forgive Roger. It wasn’t easy, but after giving it some thought, I recognized that at the end of the day, he’s a courageous soul with a high degree of moral integrity and a genuine compassion for the innocent victims of the Fugazi Demon, the nefarious, ethereal entity that lies within the mind, body and soul of the Corporate Superstate. Roger Waters is a great defender of human rights, and has often gotten himself into trouble by doing so. He’s been attacked disingenuously for positions he was absolutely right to defend, lamentably even by his own treacherous bandmates, such as the phenomenally talented but cognitively deficient guitar wizard David Gilmour.

But when it came to the CoronaPanic, he was hideously led astray. His Mum famously told him he should ‘read, read, read’ everything on any particular issue, from both sides, although on this topic, he neglected to heed her sage advice.

I honestly think if I could sit him down for ten minutes and using nothing more than official government statistics, published research in major medical journals and a few paragraphs of uncontroversial immunology 101 stuff, I could turn a light on in his otherwise brilliant mind. So as harsh as my criticisms may be in this segment, and as disrespectful as it gets at times, in the random event that Roger himself ever stumbles upon it, please understand that I say all of this out of deep love and admiration, because I couldn’t possibly imagine having had to live in a world where you and your music never existed.
