Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

A cold front moved on through last night and it definitely lived up to its name. Today will be colder than yesterday with highs only in the mid- to upper-30s. The thing that will make it worse is the wind. Our winds will be gusting up to 25 MPH, so the wind chills will feel more like winter instead of spring. Tonight will be a chillier night for this time of year. Once again, the thing that will make it worse it the wind with some gusts up to 20 MPH. Overnight lows will be in the upper-teens. There's a slight chance of a few flurries late, but most of the night should be dry. The Vernal Equinox is on Tuesday and currently looks to be the coldest day of the next 7. We could start the day off with a few flurries, but it shouldn't be a big deal. Highs will be in the lower- to mid-30s. Once again, it will be breezy out there, but this time, skies will be mostly cloudy. Tomorrow night will be cool again with lows in the upper-teens to around 20. Wednesday looks like we'll see a little less wind with highs still below average in the upper-30s. The next chance of precipitation will on Saturday, but it's too far out for any specifics with that one.
