Why were the political concepts of the left and the right copied from Gnosticism?

Ancient Gnostics from 2000 years ago characterised people into three categories hylics (the left) psychics (the right) and pneumatics.

Hylics have no internal dialogue and therefore no connection to Tiktok Source.
