Memories and perceptions of a Russian tourist about a trip to Iran

Iran 💚🤍❤️
I would like to start with this analogy: “Forget everything you were taught” :)
Everything I knew about modern Iran - everything turned out wrong in reality.
Iran is a country with a small population, a large territory and a huge history. Iran is hospitable, colorful and delicious!

But let's start in order:
The first thing you encounter is, of course, the local population. Iran is not yet a country spoiled by tourists, so we were a novelty for the locals: they greeted us, smiled, spoke (who knew English) and asked to take a photo.
Each of the cities we visited had at least one (and often several) sites included in UNESCO. With a history of several thousand years, this is not surprising. But all the objects are impressive! And these are not only mosques, but also gardens, caravanserais, squares, buildings, tombs, historical centers (for example, in Yazd, the entire historical center is under protection, and what is most interesting is the historical center is residential) and even entire cities - Persepolis. In general, Persepolis was our main goal and personally hit me right in the heart! ♥️
