Saturday Afternoon Matinee - Tarzan the Fearless 1933.

Saturday Afternoon Matinees at my Grandmothers house when I was a child was a favorite past time. I have found these old but wonderful movies now in the public domain and hope to share a few old movies I watch in reruns in my youth.

Starring Buster Crabbe in his only appearance as Tarzan. Written by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Tarzan rescues Dr. Brooks, a scientist, played by Edward Alyn Warren is held by the fierce followers of Zar, God of the Emerald Fingers. Mary Brooks, his daughter, played by Julie Bishop also known as Jacqueline Wells. Tarzan searches for Mary and finds her swimming and a river when a crocodile appears and Tarzan dives in and saves her. He wrestles with the crocodile and saves Mary. Tarzan and Mary become friends.
