Post Office Investigator: Forensic Report had NO Impact on us!

Post Office Investigator Suzanne Winter states that the forensic accounting report commissioned by an subpostmaster accused of stealing had NO impact on us - either as an investigation team or at a wider Post Office level.

Given that the report highlights serious issues regarding the evidence that their client was the perpetrator or indeed that a crime had even been committed as well as flagging data retention concerns, due to the amount of missing data, and concerns about the stability of the Horizon system the testimony we analyse here suggests that whilst it was shared within the Post Office there was no further action or impact on the way to Post Office was operating investigations or more widely as an organisation.
