Holy Quran - Sura 73, Al-Muzzammil (The Enshrouded One) - Recitation by Al-Afasi

Surah Al-Muzzammil is the 73rd surah (chapter) of The Glorious Quran. Name of the surah means The One Covering Himself. It has 20 ayaat (verses) and was revealed in the holy city of Makkah i.e., before Prophet ﷺ migrated to the city of Medina. This surah can be found in juz / paara 29.

Introduction:

This early Meccan sûrah prepares the Prophet ( ﷺ ) for the commandments yet to be revealed and the challenges ahead. The Prophet ( ﷺ ) is advised, both in this sûrah and the next, to seek comfort in patience and prayer, whereas the arrogant disbelievers are warned of a horrible punishment in Hell.
