Cute sloth

Sloths derive their name from the capital sin of sloth due to their initially perceived slow and lazy nature, although they are indeed slow compared to other animals. They serve as excellent habitats for various organisms, with a single sloth potentially hosting moths, beetles, cockroaches, fungi, ciliates, and algae.

The pygmy three-toed sloth is classified as Critically Endangered (CR B1ab(ii,iii)) on the 2010 IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. The primary threat to this species is the destruction of the mangroves where they reside.
