A large meteoroid burned and crumbled into fragments in the sky on March 17, 2018
Next meteor shower peak:
Lyrids
on April 21-22nd night.
The moon will be 85% of full.
The Lyrids are a medium strength shower that usually produces good rates for three nights centered on the maximum. These meteors also usually lack persistent trains but can produce fireballs. These meteors are best seen from the northern hemisphere.
