Long ago, in the vast lands of the ancient kingdom of Kapilavastu, a prince named Siddhartha Gautama was born. His birth was surrounded by prophecies: sages predicted that he would either become a great leader or a spiritual renunciant. His father, King Suddhodana, wishing for Siddhartha to become a powerful king, shielded him from the knowledge of the hardships and sufferings of the outside world, surrounding him with luxuries and comforts.

However, Siddhartha was always an inquisitive spirit. After encountering old age, sickness, and death, he realized that life was more than just worldly pleasures. Moved by compassion and a desire to understand human suffering, Siddhartha decided to leave behind his life of luxury and set out in search of true wisdom.
