Who's buying a real estate? Dual-Income, No Kids, DINKs
According to a 2023 report from the U.S. Census Bureau, fewer families today live with children compared to two decades ago, with only 39% living with their own children under 18, down from 48% in 2003. DINKs, benefiting from more disposable income, are seizing the opportunity to invest in resort properties. I'm Richard Eimers serving Destin to Inlet Beach since 1995.
In today's market, rising costs and interest rates can be daunting. However, DINKs' financial flexibility helps them navigate these challenges more effectively.
For frustrated homebuyers, here's a piece of advice: persistence pays off. Don't be discouraged if your dream resort property eludes you. Keep searching, stay positive, and trust that the right opportunity will come your way.
So, to all buyers in Destin, Miramar Beach, and Inlet Beach, stay resilient and manage frustration levels during your resort property search. Your perfect oasis awaits!
