Post Office Lawyer Jarnail Singh admits that evidence was MISSING from disclosure to the defence and court in a case of Post Office prosecution against a subpostmaster as email exchanges between himself and others are omitted in addition to drafts of witness statements where there had been 'material changes' to what was said in the finalised version.
Jarnail Singh admits that these should have been included but had to take some time away from the Post Office at the time so this should have been handled by someone else.
Asked about what steps he took to ensure that this would be the case, he says that the case was constantly under review.
