Have your parents ever told you something that to this day still makes you cry every time you think about it? Our words have more power than we realize, especially over other people. Yet most of us don't even realize we've said something wrong until it's too late and the damage is already done. That's why from childhood we are taught the importance of thinking before speaking, a lesson we must remember even when we are adults and especially as parents.
