Melbourne is known quiet, but there's a whole world of creatures living right alongside us! Let me introduce you to some of our special neighbours.

First, there are many spiders and the Huntsman Spider is one of the big spiders we often see around here. Don't worry, he might look scary, but he's actually quite shy and helps keep our home free from other bugs.

Then, there's Cathy the Cockroach. Cathy likes to sneak around the kitchen at night, searching for yummy snacks. She's a bit sneaky, but she's just trying to find food for herself and her cockroach friends.

We've also got the Ants. They come in all different sizes and march around in lines, working together to find food for their ant hill.

Watch out for the Mosquitoes! They buzz around in the evening, looking for someone to nibble on. That's why we always wear insect repellent when we play outside.

And those pesky Flies! They love to zoom around our heads, especially when we're having a picnic. But we just shoo them away and enjoy our sandwiches.

In our garden, we're often visited by busy bees fluttering around the flowers. They come to collect nectar whenever the flowers are in bloom! And the butterflies are always fluttering around the flowers too.

And then there are the snails, slowly gliding along the damp earth, always hiding among the flowers and under the trees.

Oh... let's not forget our feathered friends!
We have Crows, Magpies, Rainbow Lorikeets, and even Cockatoos. They sing us songs every morning, filling the air with their cheerful melodies.

Sometimes, if we're lucky, we might spot Kangaroos hopping by or a family of Ducks waddling through the park. They're always a delightful sight in our neighbourhood.

So you see, our suburb is buzzing with life! Each creature has its own story to tell, and we're lucky to have them as our neighbours. Welcome to our Melbourne!
