Thousands of students to serve punishments for National Walkout Day

Kids left class across the country on Wednesday to call for tougher gun control laws in the wake of the Parkland, Fla. high school shooting. According to CNN, a school district in South Carolina says it punished more than 500 students. Students in a district near Atlanta were told they could be suspend for five days for leaving class, and more than 200 students in Allentown, Pa. are set to serve Saturday detention tomorrow. Many of the students say it was worth it.
