Mexico agrees with Venezuela to send back illegals

During a news conference on Thursday, Foreign Minister Alicia Barcena announced that Mexico has entered into an agreement with Venezuela to facilitate the deportation of migrants.

Additionally, deals have been struck with both Mexican and Venezuelan companies to provide employment opportunities for these individuals.

Among the largest groups of migrants arriving in Mexico en route to the United States are Venezuelans, driven by their country’s political and economic turmoil.

Presently, there are approximately 4,000 to 5,000 Venezuelan migrants stranded in Mexico, predominantly in the city of Tijuana, Reuters reported.
