About historical
sights of Iran a lot has already been said and shown on the channel. I would like to pay attention to modern objects that are worth visiting. Today we will talk about a bridge called Tabiyat.
In Tehran in 2014, an unusual pedestrian bridge, Tabiyat, appeared. The project was developed by a young Iranian architect Leila Araghiyan. The bridge became her first major work and brought many prestigious awards. A metal structure 270 m long and 40 m high connects the Mohammed Ali Nahib and Al Jazeera parks, between which a transport highway runs. The curved structure is supported by three figured supports. The bridge has two levels, the tiers are connected to each other by stairs and passages. Restaurants have been built at the lower level at both ends of the bridge, green areas have been arranged along the entire length, and there are benches for rest. There is an observation deck above the second level. When the evening lights turn on, the bridge shimmers with all the colors of the rainbow. Conceptually, the Tabiyat Bridge is similar to Zaryadye Park in Moscow, i.e. is an island of nature - a place where a person can take his time and relax from the bustle of the city, chat with friends or just dream.
