The Four Attachment Styles are: secure, preoccupied-anxious, avoidant-dismissive, and avoidant-fearful. Attachment theory is a psychological model that tries to describe the dynamics of long-term and short-term interpersonal relationships between people. Our relationship styles are believed to develop early in life, largely influenced by the relationships we have with parents and sometimes peers.
