WISDOM BITS - you're just an asset to be acquired by corporatocracy, why become a machine?

Many people dream about becoming mechanical, embracing machine implants within them. Could be a life-savior for some, in many cases, but not all. And even if so, at what cost?
If this sick society has been showing you it's capable only of destruction, mass killing and abandonment of ANY rationality, why would you offer to become a machine? It's like literally giving your body to this beast. Guess this sick society can be called so, you know, comparing it to the beast in religious writings.
