Child bank robbers, dubbed ‘Little Rascals,’ nabbed in Texas

The “Little Rascals,” three suspects wanted in connection with a bank robbery, have been apprehended, as reported by FBI Houston.

Initially gaining notoriety after authorities shared their images on social media, the trio was accused of robbing a Wells Fargo bank located on the North Freeway and West Road in the Greenspoint area.

Initially thought to be teenagers aged between 14 and 18, the FBI revealed that they are actually 16, 12, and 11 years old.

While the FBI released surveillance photos, the case is being handled by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

According to HCSO, the boys handed a threatening note to a teller during the robbery.

Although they were believed to be armed, no weapon was displayed, and they managed to escape with an undisclosed sum of money.

Following the release of the surveillance photos, HCSO began receiving tips from the public, ABC 13 Eyewitness News reported.
