Is the Military Industrial Complex the New Wall Street

For many years finance has attracted the best and brightest, incentivized by the high pay. Is it any wonder why 4 decades later we are saturated in debt? Similarly, the defense industry is attracting some of the most credentialed folks seeking high pay and benefits, good working hours, relatively easy work, and a lot of time off. The average federal pay is now much higher than in the private sector on average.

If incentivizing Wall Street and finance led to inflation and out of control debt, what happens when we turn our attention to enriching the Military Industrial Complex? We know the answer.

It may be worth considering applying our brightest minds and imperial energy on things other than debt slavery and human destruction... just sayin', we could.
