Arctic Cat 858 Catalyst Demo Day at ERX - February 17, 2024

I finally got a turn on the 858 Catalysts and they didn't disappoint! With absolutely zero snow for a trail ride, we were very lucky to have this event at the ERX facility in Elk River, MN. Even though the track was groomed prior to me getting on it, it was still plenty rough, and that made pushing the 858 much more difficult. It was still great to see it run, and I loved it.Show more

Considering how well the 600 performs, I may not get the 858 for myself, but the demo also showcased other features on the 2025 Arctic Cats that are really attractive - one is the crystal clear G8 display, which is incredible to see on the new Cats. I also was impressed with the ATAC shocks.

Kind of luck of the draw, I didn't get to ride the RXC nor the Riots that were there. I also missed seeing the new Sno Pro models equipped with AC5S shocks, even though they were there. I really, really, really liked the ability of the 129" track to take those tight corners, and with the kind of riding I typically do, I think my next Catalyst is going to be one of those.
