Maryland Democrats Push 'Decency Agenda' Focused On Porn For Kids

Five pieces of legislation comprise the Maryland House speaker's package of bills she calls her "decency agenda." House Speaker Adrienne Jones, D-District 10, said the bills are intended to prevent intolerance and hate from taking further root in state institutions, the workplaces and schools. She started working on the bills well before the session started, even declaring her intentions to do so while addressing the chamber on the session's first day. According to the speaker, the legislation focuses on everything from protecting controversial library books to prohibiting workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
