What god says about guilt

The spirits of Guilt and Shame are a tool the enemy uses in order for us to come out of agreement with who we are in Christ.

But your identity isn’t taken away because you sinned. In fact, God knew every sin you would commit in your life, yet chose love. Despite it all, he made a way for you to live in freedom and joy, even when mistakes are made.

Repent and ask the Lord for forgiveness for whatever sin that was committed, then accept Gods forgiveness and forgive yourself. If guilt and shame have found its way in the picture and you have participated in it (believed it, allowed it to take residence in your heart) repent for participating with it and take authority In Jesus name and command it to leave you. Then praise the Lord for his goodness!

If it tries to come back, rebuke it in Jesus name, meditate on scripture and on your identify in Christ. Because, regardless of whatever guilt and shame, tell you, you are saved, sanctified, delivered, redeemed, justified, glorified, cleansed, and have fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit through the death, burial, and resurrection of the broken body of the Lord and shed blood of the lamb.

All of those things have been bought and paid for by the Lord.
