Swain's vision of the Empire was appreciated by a lot of citizens, and so they've supported him to spark a rebellion against the former emperor Boram Darkwill and succeeded in gaining control of the empire as the new Grand General of Noxus. But the fight if far from over for him, as now the Black Rose is seeking to kill him, as they do not align with his plans for the empire.
