How to make the BEST homemade cinnamon rolls: FLUFFY, EASY & DELICIOUS!

RECIPE AND DIRECTIONS BELOW

Dough:
3/4 cup warm milk
2 1/4 tsp yeast (or 1 packet)
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter (half a stick)
3 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon salt

Filling:
1 cup soft butter (half aStick)
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

Buttercream Frosting:
3/4 cup softbutter (1 1/2 sticks)
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tabespoons milk
**If you want a cream cheese frosting, substitute half the butter for cream cheese.

Directions:
-Add warm milk, yeast, egg, sugar and butter to a bowl and mix together.
-Mix in flour and salt until a dough ball forms and knead for 5 minutes.
-Let dough rest for a few minutes while prepping filling.
-Mix the filling together (ONLY brown sugar and cinnamon, not butter).
-Roll out dough into a rectangle (roughly 14x 8inches).
-Spread filling butter all over and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on it.
-Roll up to make a long log and cut into inch pieces 1 inch thick and place into baking dish.
-Allow to rise until double in size (1-2 hours).
-Bake in oven at 375° for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown on top.
-Mix frosting and pour over cinnamon rolls while still hot - Enjoy!
