Assyrian Pop Artist Yasmeen Focuses on Christ

Born in Detroit, the singer/song writer who grew up in the Chaldean Catholic Church, Assyrian pop artist Yasmeen has set her focus on Christ with her two latest singles, 'Power' and 'Walk with Him.'

The daughter of immigrants from Iraq, Yasmeen has sung in both the Eastern Catholic Church and Evangelical churches where she shares the love of the Lord, her ethnic and religious traditions as well as Christianity in the West.

For those unfamiliar with the Chaldean Catholic Church, it is an Eastern See in full communion with Rome under Patriarch Louis Raphaël I Sako, who have kept the tradition of all Mass services being performed in Aramaic, the language of our Lord.
