In the course of air reconnaissance of AFU positions, the paratroopers located main enemy firing points and shelters.

The artillery crews performed tasks first delivering strikes and suppressing enemy main firepower. After that, the BMD-2 airborne assault vehicles approached the enemy positions from several directions and assault detachments under the cover of armoured vehicles quickly captured the AFU positions eliminating the enemy by all types of small arms and grenade launchers.
