So, today I have an email from Alicia who says,

“Hi Patrik,

My daughter is on a ventilator and the doctors are saying she can’t be weaned off the ventilator. She’s also on dialysis. They are suggesting she should do hospice care and turn off the ventilator and let her die. My daughter wants to leave. What should I do?”
