Lauterbrunnen and beyond

Since the main Lauterbrunnen valley is a no-fly-zone, we chose to follow the Mattenbach falls which is on the edge of the zone. Coincidentally it is one of my favourite falls in Lauterbrunnen. This six-stage, 1.2km high waterfalls – a little removed from the public eye is an attraction of its own. I have often wondered what lies beyond at the back of the falls where the water is calm and peaceful before it plunges into the majestic Lauterbrunnen valley. What we discovered up there was as surprising as it was mesmerizing. Gear: For this task we chose the tiniest slugger in our arsenal: The Explorer LR 4, equipped with a 3000 MAH battery and a DJI O3 camera, we took to the skies. And yes we put our Explorer LR 4 (mosquito) on one of the most reliable links out there: TBS crossfire (antenna vertical orientation).
