On today’s episode, we look at Progressive Christianity–a pervasive ideology within our culture that, in an attempt to make Christianity more “relevant,” accepts certain parts of Christianity, but rejects others.
But if we, as Christians, believe our faith is true, can something that is true really progress beyond that? (Check out the last Worldview w/ Abigail episode on postmodernism!)
If we reject parts of the Bible we disagree with, and, consequently, some of the key doctrines of Christianity, what are we left with? If we progress beyond Christianity, is it even Christianity anymore? Or is it just a postmodern narrative disguised by Christian jargon?
