Police in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, are currently seeking multiple suspects following three separate and unrelated shootings in the vicinity of the boardwalk and downtown area on Sunday evening.

These incidents resulted in one fatality and left at least three others wounded.

Addressing the media at a briefing on Monday morning, Jacksonville Beach Police Chief Gene Paul Smith informed that several suspected shooters are still at large.

The initial shooting occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. in the 400 block of the boardwalk, situated just east of the Best Western hotel.

Smith revealed that prior to the incident, officers had received reports of a potential gathering of teenagers beneath the pier.

Upon arrival, they discovered a crowd numbering between 250 to 400 juveniles in their late teens, who were reportedly engaging in boxing matches and altercations, Fox News is reporting.
