Multiple Witnesses Encounter UFO in Yukon

On a cold, night in 1996, a UFO was sighted
in the Yukon Territory of Canada.

Two men were traveling that night with
another family 16 kilometers behind them.

John Smith and his cousin Billy were headed
to Carmax to sell a car.

The family saw up ahead of them a row of
bright lights. The man and his wife got
out of the car to get a better look.

Finally, the object shot out of sight
heading straight toward the two men.

They encounter the object and decide to
stop and watch the UFO.

They describe the object as being the
size of a football field.

Billy tried to take a photograph, but
couldn't get his camera to work.

Soon, the UFO begins to move away, very slowly.

Other witnesses report seeing the object in nearby
towns, bringing the total to around 30.

The incident was reported to the Canadian government.

Yukon is the smallest and westernmost of Canada's three territories.
It is the third-least populated province or territory in Canada, with
a population of 45,148 as of 2023.
