What inane choice are these two boys making in the middle of winter? Why jumping over a flowing creek, of course. As a former teenage boy, I can see the logic behind why both of these boys think that they can make a jump over this creek. It is not that wide. I may not be the best at judging distances, but it does not appear to be much more than four or five feet across at the place they decide to attempt their jumps. What makes the choice reckless is the time of year that they are doing it. It is clearly the middle of winter in the video, so that water is going to be cold and it is not good to wander cold environs in wet clothes, if they fail. Which they do.
