The Covenant of Works

In this week's video we cover the covenant of works that God made with Adam. The stipulations, promises, and threatening's of the covenant are laid out in detail. God gave Adam dominion over the earth under the ultimate authority of God. God wanted Adam's descendants to fill the earth so that the earth would be filled with worshippers to the Lord. Adam failed to keep his covenant but the second Adam, Jesus Christ kept the covenant of works in our place as the mediator of the covenant of grace. God's original desire for the earth to be filled with worshippers is fulfilled through the great commission.
