I Surrender Some...

In the book of John chapter 15 Jesus is speaking of being the True Vine... He starts by speaking of how He is and has been pruned by the Father who is the vinedress... Every branch that does not bear fruit is removed and cast into the fire... Every good and fruitful branch is trimmed so that it may produce more fruit... Then Jesus goes on to say that He is the True Vine and if we abide in Him and He abides in us, we too will be fruitful and bear much fruit...
Yet we have a tough time of producing the fruit of Christ because we have tendencies to hold on to dead or unproductive limbs in our own lives... We hang on to dead religious practices and belief systems, that need to be cut off and removed from our lives and cast into the fire... We don't recieve our deliverance and healing because we believe the weekened, watered down lies we have been taught through religion and traditions... When we don't recieve deliverance or healing we always go the reasons as to why and then base the failures of not enough or the wrong actions taken... We speak the Word of God, maybe sing the words to many great songs like "I Surrender All" when truthfully we should be singing "I Surrender Some" as some is all that we want to surrender... Yet as in Romans 12:1 we should offer our lives as living sacrifices as Jesus did... We claim to be connected with Jesus as the True Vine, yet we also want to be connected to the world and believe the lies of religions... If we are completely pruned by God the Father and connected as a branch to the Vine of Jesus, our lives should be as the life of Jesus, not these disease ridden, spiritually and physically afflicted bodies we walk around with... We speak the Words from Romans that the same power that raised Jesus from the grave, lives in me... Jesus did not walk from the grave as a zombie like person with sloughing skin and limbs falling of... Jesus walked from the grave with a healed body. He had scars but these scars were healed... So if we are and reap all of the rewards of Jesus including the resurrection life of becoming Born Again, then why are we still walking around like a bunch of zombies instead of the resurrected healed body of Christ Jesus? Because we need to be pruned and willing to allow God, through His Holy Spirit prune away all from us that we want to hang onto or what all is dead and preventing our growth in Jesus...
Listen to this message of the Lord and the prayers near the end for pruning of our flesh and soulful ideas, deliverance from evil spirits and connections with the world and healing from afflictions that have no right within our bodies... In Jesus Most Almighty Holy Name...
