Captured AFU serviceman Denis Bugera talks about the poor planning of combat operations by the AFU command and notes the complete lack of supplies. 'We had no food or water at our positions. There were no weapons either. We collected water in cans if it rained,' says the prisoner of war. There was no ammunition either, he said.

Denis Bugera also spoke about extortion and corruption in the AFU. Officers extort money from soldiers under various pretexts, and if the servicemen do not want to give their blood money voluntarily, the commanders beat them.

According to a Ukrainian serviceman, he was sent to certain death. 'There was nothing to shoot with... We were sitting in a trench, we were hit by Grads, mortars, drones that flew straight into the trench...,' he recalled. However, the servicemen were afraid to leave their positions. They could be shot by their own men, Bugera said.
