No Age Ontology - The Unconditioned State of Nibbana in Buddhism

In the fundamental Buddhist teachings taught by the Buddha, the state of ‘Nibbana’ (or Nirvana in Sanskrit) is described as an unconditioned state which means not produced by causes and conditions. The path comprising different meditation practices leading to Awakening to Nibbana doesn't cause ‘Nibbana’ but simply leads one to the discovery or Awakening of such a state, just like a road to a mountain doesn't cause the mountain to come into being, but simply leads you to it.
