As of my last update in January 2022, Russia has been known to develop and unveil various new weapons systems. Some of these include:

Avangard Hypersonic Glide Vehicle: This is a maneuverable reentry vehicle designed to deliver nuclear warheads at hypersonic speeds. It is claimed to be capable of flying at Mach 20 or faster, making it extremely difficult to intercept.

Sarmat ICBM: The RS-28 Sarmat is an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) developed by Russia to replace the aging Soviet-era R-36M missiles. It is designed to carry multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs) and has a range capable of reaching any point on the globe.

Poseidon Underwater Drone: Also known as the Status-6 Oceanic Multipurpose System, Poseidon is an autonomous, nuclear-powered underwater drone armed with a nuclear warhead. Its intended purpose is to target coastal areas with devastating effects, including the destruction of ports and infrastructure.

Peresvet Laser Weapon System: This is a high-energy laser weapon system developed by Russia. It is said to be capable of destroying both aerial and ground targets, including drones, missiles, and vehicles.

Kinzhal Hypersonic Missile: The Kinzhal ("Dagger") is an air-launched ballistic missile system designed to be carried by Russian fighter aircraft. It is claimed to have hypersonic speed and maneuverability, making it difficult to intercept.

These are just a few examples, and Russia continues to invest in and develop various other advanced weapon systems. However, for the most current information on Russian weapons development, I would recommend consulting recent news sources or official statements from the Russian government and military.
