Russia elections: Anti-Putin protests on final day of voting

Within the last few minutes the first official result has been released declaring President Putin has been re-elected, with 87.8 percent of the votes.
Earlier today the third and final day of voting saw long queues at voting stations in Russia, and at Russian embassies across Europe.
In a bid to get round the repression of any protests, anti-Putin campaigners, including Yulia Navalnaya - the widow of the opposition leader Alexei Navalny - had called for people to come to polling stations at 12 noon to show their discontent with Putin's rule.
