CMP President, David Daleiden, was honored to receive the Barbara Olson award for excellence and independence in journalism alongside James O'Keefe (Project Veritas), Abigail Shrier, Governor Doug Ducey, The Jeffrey Lord, at The American Spectator gala Trump Hotels in Washington DC.

We are here tonight to honor the winners of the Barbara Olson Award for excellence and independence in journalism. These winners have all in their own way, moved the ball. They're doing it tonight, right now. It's not enough to play defense or to yell stop.

It's not enough to simply observe. The winners of history in America fought, they fought with superior ideas and rhetorically to start. They fought with a constitution, defend our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Like them, Barbara Olson gave her life for you and for me, it is that sort of bravery that makes a difference.

Our winners tonight face public scorn, in some cases, jail cells for seeking and worst of all, to the evildoers, finding and reporting the truth. We salute their courage. Please welcome to the stage now, our first winner of the award. David Daleiden.
