In 1980 the Secretary of Defense Harold Brown gathered reporters at the Pentagon and announced to the world the existence of a new technology called ‘stealth’. From there stealth technology has rapidly advanced, from the experimental planes of WW1 to the Sr-71 blackbird to modern stealth fighters like the F-22.
