HE THAT LOVES FATHER OR MOTHER MORE THAN ME IS NOT WORTHY OF ME… Mt.10:37

We must have a personal faith in Jesus. And not one that is in the faith our father or mother has. this is what is meant by taking up your cross and following Jesus.
Because just as the men who tried to cast out the devil from the man who saw they did not know Jesus themselves. But, instead only trusted in the faith Paul had in Jesus, and were beaten badly by him. So too will you not get to heaven believing in your parent’s faith. But, will only get there when you have a personal faith and relationship with Jesus.
So our worthiness is through this personal relationship with Jesus.
