12th In our series the Prophet Micah
I. The Groaning of All Creation - Romans 8:20-22
* A. The root cause of the curse is sin
* 1. The satanic solution is the depopulation of the planet
* 2. Requiring everyone join the climate change cult
* B. The hope is in the redeeming work of Christ
* 1. It transforms sinners into saints through ongoing repentance
* 2. It prepares them to rule and reign over a perfect and completely ‘Peaceable Kingdom’ - Isaiah 65:25

II. The Threat Against Judah for its many Sins - Micah 2:10
* A. After 40 years wandering in the wilderness the land of Canaan was Israel’s rest - Deuteronomy 12:9-10
* 1. That rest didn’t mean they did no work but rather rest from war
* a. A time of societal stability and family prosperity 
* b. The disobedient did not enter that rest - Psalm 95:11
* 2. That continued rest was contingent upon obedience to God - disobedience means ejection from the land
* a. Unless repentance was forthcoming Judah would be destroyed by war 
* b. The survivors would become slaves
* B. The defilement of the land causes the land to vomit out its inhabitants
* 1. Moral pollution is worse that physical - Leviticus 18:24-29
* a. Judah defiled the land - Jeremiah 2:7-8
* b. They did not execute murders - Numbers 35:33-34; Genesis 4:10-12
* 2. Not just Israel, all nations are judged by the same standard - Genesis 15:13-16
