This seems to be very prevalent in many African churches today. Both The Evangelist and The Beard have had to fight back against lies and false teachings coming from that part of the world where "pastors" are making statements and claims that instead of helping Believers grow in Christ bring them farther from the truth and in fact lead to the very demonic influences they claim to be fighting against. And that is why it is so important we are grounded in Scripture before listening to any Man. We have to know the Truth in order to avoid the lies.
