Now, it can no longer be denied: There are, in 2024, no problems in the United States, or in any other trans-Atlantic nation, which are not international. Elections, such as the recent Rochdale election of George Galloway in Britain, or the “uncommitted” vote in the Democratic Party primaries in Michigan and Minnesota, have been used as referenda, by an otherwise-ignored citizenry, on the disastrous NATO “regime change” practices and perpetual wars of the last 25 years.

There are also no solutions to the core problems of the United States, or any other nation, which are not international. Conferences such as the April 13 Schiller Institute conference, “The Oasis Plan: The LaRouche Solution for Peace Through Development Between Israel and Palestine and for All of Southwest Asia” must bring together independent forces to outline the principles for a new strategic and development architecture to avoid World War III. Ending useless, wasteful wars can be done, by deploying the productive powers of labor and technology of the trans-Atlantic nations, together with that of the BRICS-Plus nations and the “Global South,” for a scientific and cultural revolution in physical economy. In this way, we can reverse the “clash of civilizations” geopolitics that should have died when the Berlin Wall fell, but has continued, zombie-like, in the form of the NATO which should have died with it.

Speakers: Harley Schlanger, Mike Robinson
