Banning TikTok is NOT About China

If people have learned anything in the last few years, I pray they realize the government lies about everything it is doing. They make one claim, when in reality, they have a different intent that Americans will really hate... which is why they lie about what they are doing.

In this case, the claim being made is that TikTok must be sold by the Chinese-controlled ByteDance company to an American company to prevent Chinese algorithms from stealing the personal and financial data of Americans. As this young woman, Isabel Brown, correctly points out, Facebook is already doing this to Americans.

Simply installing Facebook on your phone, gives the app the ability to dig through your phone and take your data and sell it to the government. Twitter did the same before Elon Musk purchased it. If you have Facebook on your computer, you run the same risk.

This is a shell game, a bait and switch to fool Americans to think the government is protecting them. Therefore, Americans will suddenly trust American social media companies AND, trust the politicians that voted yes on this bill... after all, it is an election year and if they can fool you, that is to their advantage.
