Hamas has called upon Palestinians to break the siege at Al-Aqsa Mosque on first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. Hamas' message came as Israeli forces enforced new restrictions on the entry of Muslims into the compound. Palestinian foreign ministry and Jordan lashed out at Israel for the 'dangerous and unacceptable act.' However, Israeli police refuted reports of barriers being set up to prevent access to the Mosque. They called the reports unfounded, which were aimed at “inflaming the atmosphere.” Watch for more details.
