America's Anti-intellectualism | Driven by Narrative Conformity

On paper the United States is more educated and certainly technologically advanced than ever before. Yet, the populous is less able to engage in intellectual conversation and debate than a couple of donkeys and mule. Academia, now the bastion of conformity, has degraded the appreciation of deep observation, critical thought and analysis, and applying these to solve the normative problems of society.
